The Rhapsody Series continues at 4:00 p.m. next Sunday, November 2 in the Recital Hall!
Join us for a recital of original works created by composers in our School of Music community. This diverse collection of compositions provides a sampling of the many types of new music that comes to life regularly on our campus. From art songs to driving percussion and saxophone music, these works represent output from not only composition faculty members but also instrumental studio faculty. Experience virtuosic and sensitive performances as faculty come together to breathe life into compositions made and performed by members of our community. Regardless of personal taste, audience members are sure to discover something new to love from our School of Music community. It’s a rare opportunity to hear a collection of works like this, in one place, while the ink is still wet.
